Colin and Candy Weyrick started in1985 as the owners of a sand and gravel delivery business. In 1990, they started a small lumber yard in the back of a local general contractor’s office located in Paso Robles.

In 1992 they leased property on Theatre Drive in Paso Robles and expanded the lumber business. They purchased several acres on Main Street in Templeton in 1995, and moved the lumber yard operation there. With the completion of the large store facilities in 2001, the product lines were expanded to include drywall, contractor hardware, a Doors and Windows shop, roofing, siding, and many other building products; as well as 15 acres of lumber and wood products.

Currently Weyrick Companies Inc has locations in Bakersfield, Chino, Lompoc, Visalia, and Templeton.
The Sand and Gravel operations now include several quarries, and a truck storage yard in Paso Robles.

Weyrick Companies Inc is still owned and operated by Colin and Candy Weyrick, and employs approximately 100 people. The Weyricks are involved in many civic and community activities, and are well respected throughout the Central Coast area.
